I have been in practising reflexology since qualifying in 2008 from New Beginnings School of Reflexology, Greencastle Co. Tyrone. The school was affiliated with the awarding body of the Irish Reflexology Institute at that time. Very early on I was drawn to reflexology for cancer, continuing training with ARC in Dublin and Macmillan in Northern Ireland.

I worked in Dzogchen Beara retreat centre in West Cork for 3 years which enabled me to follow my interest in spiritual care as well as providing a very special environment to practice; both in the Care Centre at Dzogchen Beara and in West cork ARC Cancer Support charity in Bantry.

Reflexology is a deeply relaxing yet powerful therapy carried out with a massage of the feet or hands. Chinese medicine advocates “the whole being found in the one”, and so the whole body and its systems can be accessed through the feet with plantar reflexology, through the hands in hand reflexology.
